Style: Rum Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout (2yrs in Ex-Rum Barrels)

Trust The Process has been just over two years in the making, and it genuinely put our faith to the test. This stout entered an ex-rum barrel in 2023, where it slowly aged, developing the combined character of the oak and residual rum. Its maturation—and protection from the outside world—was further challenged when we had to relocate the barrel a number of times while we found a new home.

What emerged is something we're incredibly proud of: a complex stout with complex notes of rum, roast, and barrel. Anticipate sticky, sweet dark fruits, and maybe even a touch of cola, courtesy of the rum. It's the ideal pour for the weather right now.
