The original plan with FIFO was simple, package some in May then let the rest sleep in barrels. But at some point the idea of a toasted coconut version of FIFO entered our minds and the plan for the remaining stout changed.
Meet Coconut FIFO: the same unapologetically thick and fudgy Imperial Stout with a twist, a heap of toasted coconut. The coconut weaves itself naturally into every layer of caramel and cacao of the base FIFO. No lactose. No barrels. Still just an old school imperial stout, but this time with coconut.
