Extra Specky is one of the most interesting DIPA’s we’ve made to date. What makes this beer so interesting is the heavy dry hopping with Eggers Riwaka and Special X. Yes you heard us right, Special X.
In Extra Specky we’ve combined one of Eggers Riwaka lots with one of their experimental Riwaka strains Special X, this particular lot being code named ‘Yellow’.
The results speak for themselves, Extra Specky oozes complex citrus, hints of pine and tropical fruit and an unmistakable diesel stank (in a good way, you’ll see).
